I'm so glad you are back!!!! Inspiring and so informative as usual....and I'm glad you are able to be back because your book was such a success!!! Congrats on everything Isabelle and thank you for the inspiration and curiosity you inspire in all of us!!
Kudos on the keynote! So much joy has been sucked out of schools, my daughter thrives in the structure but my son does not. Fortunately, they are able to spend the rest of their time outside playing. The less scheduled the better!
I am so happy Small Talks is back!!! And Head Start folks keep reminding me that Head Start is the original 2-gen program, meeting the needs of families in many different ways. One that I am most intrigued with is the change in families valuing education for their children and themselves. And almost every Head Start alum I meet tells me that Head Start gave them the "love of learning". I'll never forget a visit to a prominent Senator from Mississippi with one of Head Start directors - an alumna of Head Start - who pointed at each of the 4 university football helmets on the coffee table and proudly shared that she had a degree from each.
These are such lovely and inspiring reflections! I'm familiar with Generation Hope and they truly aim to live and walk out their mission in everything that they do💜
Always love this read! This week I MUST share that NHSA is partnering with community colleges through our Kids on Campus effort. You must check this out! It is amazing!
Thanks for starting my week off with JOY! Doesn't get better than that!
